Free Seeds, Grower Pics and Bad News

Greetings! It's been a while!

First, I have to share some pics that a grower just sent me of some LBS Irie Select ladies he grew. He took them to 14 weeks, and they really fattened up! Sweet and skunky!

I'll also answer some questions about the free seeds I offer. And, I'll share some bad news about a law recently passed by Congress that changes the definition of "hemp" seeds to "marijuana" seeds, if the seed mom tested over 0.3% total THC.

More on that, but first, some grower pics:

Well done, Dom! Enjoy your harvest!

Now, about those free seeds. For a while now, I have been giving 30 free seeds with every pack of LBS seeds or pollen ordered. They are regular M/F seeds from the high potency Legend line, but they aren't from seed moms that I had lab tested. (The lab I use is quite expensive, so I am very selective in which seed moms get tested.) Essentially, they are from sisters of my Legend, Irie Select and Respect varieties.

The seeds are all dark, hard, and hand-selected. They should have excellent germination and produce vigorous, healthy, photoperiod sativa plants with high levels of cannabinoids and terpenes.

Plus, I just love sharing my Jamaican genetics and its a small way that I can show appreciation for customers who choose to try my seeds!

Now, for the bad news - Congress Killed Hemp!

In the bill that recently ended the shutdown, HR 5371, Congress included significant changes to hemp law, essentially banning all THC-containing hemp products. Unless changed by November 2026, all products derived from cannabis that contain over 0.3% total THC and finished products with >0.4 mg of total THC will be prohibited. This will ban all interstate commerce of hemp-derived products and will cause numerous businesses to close, workers to be terminated, and buyers to be denied.

In Section 781, Exclusion C, the new law essentially changes the definition of "hemp" seeds to "marijuana" seeds, if the seed mom tested over 0.3% in total THC. This will end all interstate shipments of cannabis seeds and clones. It will also cause me to close my business and end my breeding program in the coming year.

If you think that the new law is a bad idea, please contact your Senators and members of Congress and let them know!
