Seed Mom Chop Day!
With a hard freeze followed by days of cool, rainy weather in the forecast, I seized the moment and harvested my Lamb's Breath Seed moms! It's always a bit bittersweet, after spending so much time with them as they stood, big, beautiful, bushy, and fragrant. But now, I will get to know them as they dry and cure, and by their cannabinoid and terpene test results. I just sent samples to the lab and can't wait for the results.
In the meantime, here are a few pics from chop day:
This Legend mom was massive! Well over 6 feet tall, bushy and extremely vigorous.
Her Legend flowers smell like sweet, ripe fruit! Very sticky!
This Irie Select lady was about 5 feet tall, bushy, with big fat buds.
The Irie Select buds are packed with trichomes that have an enticing sweet, floral odor. Yum!
This Irie Select plant had a natural tendency to send out three branches, when topped. All branches were in multiples of three, rather than two. The plant was very bushy and extremely vigorous. No pest or disease issues.
Her Irie flowers are extremely sticky, richly covered in trichomes.
